Foot Surgeon

Dr. Karbasi completed her undergraduate studies at Ryerson University in Toronto, where she earned her degree in Civil Engineering. After two years studying engineering, she decided to pursue medicine. She completed her second bachelor’s degree in biology at Boston University and attended the New York College of Podiatric Medicine, where she treated patients in some of the top healthcare facilities in New York City. While attending school, she was inducted into the prestigious Pi Mu Delta National Service Society. Upon graduation, she completed residency at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, NJ, the official healthcare partner of the New York Jets. She served as chief resident in her final year. During her training, she performed surgical procedures dedicated to foot and ankle ailments, including complex reconstruction of the lower extremity.

Dr. Karbasi is board certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine and is board qualified in foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. She specializes in trauma, reconstruction with use of external fixations and arthroscopic procedures.
