
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Born and raised in New York, Dr. Sollecito has been a podiatrist in private practice since 1981. He is a graduate of Villanova University in Pennsylvania, as well as the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He spent two years in residency at Lindell Hospital in St. Louis and has since called Missouri home.
Dr. Sollecito is board certified in wound care, as well as foot and ankle surgery, and practices privately at Missouri Foot & Ankle while serving as the chair of Podiatry at Mercy South Hospital. His practice interests include sports medicine and diabetic foot and wound care. He is also an attending physician in the SSM DePaul Hospital Podiatric Surgery Residency Program.
Dr. Sollecito is the physician liaison to the skilled wound and ostomy team at Mercy South and has published and presented extensively on wound care topics. He is also an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, American College of Foot & Ankle Surgery, the American College of Certified Wound Specialists, the Wound Healing Society, the American Podiatric Medical Association, the American Professional Wound Care Association and the American Diabetes Association.
